Hi, I'm Kate, a New England transplant from New Jersey who has spent the past fifteen years building both a life and a creative career in Maine.
Design has been part of my story from the beginning. I taught myself Photoshop as a kid and built my first website at thirteen, long before I realized I was drawn to solving problems through visuals. That curiosity and sheer force of will to learn grew into a career rooted in strategy, storytelling, and thoughtful execution.
Over the years, I've helped shape growing and established brands across packaging, print, catalog, marketing, and art direction. I believe the strongest creative work happens when people feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and challenging each other to think deeper. Collaboration is not just part of the process for me, it is the foundation of it.
My design mantra is that beautiful design matters, but it only succeeds when it connects with the right audience and performs in the real world. I adapt to each project and brand, making sure every touchpoint feels intentional and aligned. Clean typography and strategic clarity guide everything I create. Purposeful design is successful design.
Outside of work, I am endlessly curious. I am fascinated by history and a self-professed Law Nerd, inspired by art and fashion, and drawn to details most people overlook. That curiosity informs my work, helping me ask better questions and find stronger solutions.
I am passionate about what I do, proud of the work I create with the teams around me, and always open to a thoughtful conversation, whether it is about brand strategy or something completely unexpected.
At home, I answer to Graeae, my one-eyed grey cat, who makes it very clear she is really running the show.
